ASTM D3330 Peel Test Fixture
Peel Adhesion of Pressure-Sensitive
Peel testing, also referred to as adhesion testing, represents a technique employed within materials science and engineering to quantify the bond strength existing between two materials. This evaluation is of particular significance in determining the efficacy of adhesive bonds across a diverse range of products and materials. The 90° Peel Test specifically involves detaching one substrate from another while consistently maintaining a 90-degree angle between them throughout the peeling action. This configuration is frequently utilized to assess the adhesion strength of a flexible bonded layer applied to a rigid substrate. The resistance encountered during the peeling of the tape from the substrate serves as the measure of adhesion.
